From my experience, it’s a nice place to sit on a bench, take a short break, and enjoy the lively ambiance. The only downside is that the central area of the monument is often used by skaters, which personally I didn’t find very appropriate for a historical landmark, but it’s part of the local vibe. Overall, it’s a simple yet pleasant stop on your walk – nothing overwhelming, but definitely an interesting point along the city’s iconic waterfront.
